Norwich Business School is part of the Social Sciences Faculty of University of East Anglia, which is ranked 10th in the UK for the quality of research outputs (Times Higher REF 2014 Analysis). The admissions tutor for the Business School is Dr Min Zhang (M.Zhang1@uea.ac.uk). 

The Accounting group is currently supervising students in the following areas: Accounting and Business Ethics, Auditing and Accountability, Management Accounting and Control Systems, and Performance Management and Reporting.

Currently we would particularly welcome applications from students interested in:

  • Alternative Performance Measures (non-GAAP earnings)
  • Corporate Governance
  • Corporate Social Responsibility disclosures

PhD entry requirements: you would typically be expected to possess a good Master's degree in a relevant subject, although relevant professional qualifications and/or experience may also be considered as an alternative. International students must also have English Language IELTS 7.0 (minimum 6.5 per component) or an equivalent qualification.
