The Université de Sherbrooke (Québec, Canada) is seeking candidates for a full-time tenure-track position in accounting at the Accounting Department in the Business School.
PRINCIPAL CHALLENGES AND DUTIES

Teaching at the graduate and undergraduate (Master’s) levels in the field of Accounting, particularly in auditing or financial accounting.

Contribution to the advancement of accounting knowledge through research.

Participation in research activities, supervision of Master’s and Ph.D. students.
-
Participation in university life and service to the community.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
PhD or imminent completion of PhD in accounting or a related discipline.

Teaching skills and experience.
-
Ability to conduct research and direct students at all degree levels.

Ability to teach in French or rapid acquisition of this ability (within two years).
ASSETS
-
Chartered Professional Accountant designation or equivalent
-
Experience in professional practice
-
Experience in student preparation for and correction of professional examination business cases
Anticipated start date: August 1st or December 1st, 2019.
