The Department of Accounting and Control of the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Lausanne invites applications for a
Graduate Assistant in corporate reporting, corporate governance and audit
Date of start: 01.09.2021 or to be agreed
Duration of contract: 1 year. This contract is renewable twice for two years.
The total maximum duration is 5 years.
Employment rate: 70%-80% the 1st year, then 100%
Work location: Lausanne Dorigny
– A maximum of 50% of the regular working hours will be spent on the realization of a doctoral thesis in corporate reporting, corporate governance or audit.
– A maximum of 50% of the regular working hours will be spent assisting with teaching or research tasks (teaching activities under a professor’s responsibility. Research work that is not linked to personal research. Technical or administrative tasks that pertain the department’s teaching or research activities). Participation in exam supervision.
– Master’s degree (Master of Science) in Accounting, Control or Finance or in a closely related field (Management, Information Systems)
– Fluency in French and English
– Strong interest in empirical research in corporate reporting, corporate governance or audit and good skills for quantitative research
– Eligible to enter the PhD program of the Faculty of Business and Economics and willing to complete a doctoral thesis in the area of corporate reporting, corporate governance or audit.
