THE POSITION

emlyon business school invites applications for a full-time position at Associate / Full Professor level in Management Accounting.

Applicants are mid-careers ; they need to be ready to teach different courses in accounting, management control, performance evaluation, etc., ranging from core courses to undergraduate audiences, to more advanced courses to master's and executive participants.

The successful candidate will be based in Ecully/Lyon or Paris and will start in September 2019. 

Salary and conditions are competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants must hold a PhD or a doctorate in Management accounting or closely related area at the time of appointment. 
  • They must be able to teach the full array of courses in Management Accounting, in French and in English, at the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate (MBA and executive programs) levels.  
  • Preference will be given to applicants who are also able to teach basic notions of financial accounting and/or managerial finance
  • Applicants must demonstrate excellent teaching skills and have the ability to design, lead and deliver face-to-face as well as on-line courses.
  • They must show a record of scholarly accomplishment and a commitment to publish in academic journals, books, practice oriented journals and/or case studies. 
  • An interest in IA and Big Data analytics related to the field of Management Accounting or closely related areas will be a plus.
