Friday June 19, 2020 –  13.30-15.00 CEST (Brussels time)  FULL (see link below)

Agenda:

The COVID-19 crisis has created an uncertain teaching environment where on-line education has gained an unprecedented prominence in a very short period of time. It was not planned. It just happened. The idea of this workshop is to share our experience of teaching accounting on-line for more than 10 years and provide some guidance on how to adapt to this new scenario. The workshop will be divided in four modules as follows:

  1. SETTING THE STAGE FOR ON-LINE TEACHING
  2. PLANNING FOR AN ACCOUNTING COURSE IN AN UNCERTAIN ENVIRONMENT
  3. ACCOUNTING CLASSES ON-LINE (I): EXAMPLES OF SYNCHRONOUS ACTIVITIES
  4. ACCOUNTING CLASSES ON-LINE (II): EXAMPLES OF ASYNCHRONOUS ACTIVITIES

Each module will last for 10 mins and will be followed by some time for Q&A
