Among other vacancies, we seek to appoint Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting, which is one of three research-intensive departments who share the ambition to advance world changing knowledge and secure global impact through increasingly collaborative research across disciplines with colleagues in Durham University and beyond.

Accordingly, we seek to recruit research and teaching colleagues with the drive, vision and talent to elevate our research activity and environment. We are looking for future colleagues who will lead and contribute to the development of world-class programmes and delivering an outstanding education. This will include designing and implementing innovative teaching methodologies using a wide variety of techniques as appropriate, for example including technology-enhanced learning, the flipped class approach, case method, experiential learning, and simulations. Experience of online teaching is desirable. We welcome colleagues with a passion for student learning and a desire to enhance an inclusive community of learning, in and beyond the school.

This post is required as part of DUBS' development of a stronger intellectual base for Accounting within the school to build on current research expertise, outputs and enhance research-led teaching.
