Assistant Professorship (Tenure Track) in Sustainability Governance (100%)

The University of St. Gallen and its School of Management is seeking candidates for an Assistant Professorship (tenure track) in the field of sustainability governance. We are looking for candidates at the intersection of accounting and sustainability, that have a proven track record in one or several of the following areas: accounting and reporting on sustainability, environmental, social and governance (ESG) and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Further areas may involve corporate climate policy and decision-making.
 
The triple accredited (EQUIS, AACSB, AMBA) university offers a stimulating research environment with access to a broad range of databases necessary for empirical archival research, a professional behavioral research lab for experimental research activities, and a large network of companies for field studies.
 
The new assistant professor (3+3 years) will become part of a dynamic team with strong ties in both the international scientific community and in the corporate world. The position involves teaching in English (and preferably also in German) at all levels and in different programs mainly at the School of Management. We are looking for candidates with both an internationally recognized research track record/a pipeline of working papers expected to be published in leading journals, as well as excellent teaching skills, that have earned their PhD.
