Assistant Professor (Tenure-track) in Auditing or Financial Accounting

The Department of Accountancy at Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business is seeking, subject to budgetary approval, qualified applicants for one tenure-track position in Auditing or Financial Accounting at the Assistant Professor level starting August 1, 2020. Qualifications are a PhD (either completed or ABD, expecting to complete within a year), a strong orientation to academic research and evidence of excellent teaching ability.

The primary area of interest is Auditing or Financial Accounting. Other related areas will also be considered. Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching up to four courses in an academic year (at the undergraduate, and/or graduate levels), to serve on committees, and be active in research. Candidates will be assessed on their demonstrated potential to conduct internationally-recognized research, secure research funds, as well as teach and drive curricular development within their respective areas. Salaries are competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
